Have you wonder how to implement inside your website beautiful custom fonts that you see on the internet or you`re using inside Photoshop? Cufón is a very elegant way to beautify any website with a nice font and is growing in popularity among designers thanks to its simplicity of install and use.
Cufón aims to become a worthy alternative to sIFR, which despite its merits still remains painfully tricky to set up and use.

Free font library cufonfonts.com is very helpful but it’s down right now.
The Aller free license does not allow embeding and the commercial license only allows 1,000 visitors per day. Read for yourself below.
“16 The Licensee may convert the Font Software to EOT format (or other format which Dalton Maag may from time-to-time make it known that it allows under specific terms) for installation on the Licensee’s Website. Website Visitors are included in the Licensed Unit at the equivalence of 1,000 (one thousand) Website Visitors per day being equal to 1 (one) User of the Font Software. For the purpose of Licensed Unit assessment, the Licensee may disregard the Licensee’s Website’s busiest day in a seven-day period. Should the number of Website Visitors cause the number of Users to exceed the Licensed Unit, the Licensee must immediately purchase an additional Licensed Unit of the correct size to cover the shortfall.”
My Latest Blog Post: TokBox
The Aller free license *does* permit web embedding, so long as it conforms to the terms specified in Dalton Maag’s Web Embedding FAQ (namely cufon, or font-face with a WebOnly convert).
And regarding traffic limits; yes, 1000 *unique* web visitors per-day counts as 1 desktop user, but the license permits 25 (that’s you + 24,000 web visitors per-day!).
A goal without a approach is just a fantasy in my honest opinion

Very nice
Great resource, thanks for sharing!
Madalin:
Thanks for the resources. From the link you included it looks as though it’s pretty easy to generate the fonts; will have to play with it more and look through the tutorial links you included.
