class="tut_image"><img
src="http://www.ourtuts.com/wp-content/uploads/tutorial 13-iphone/1.jpg" alt="16" title="16" width="455" height="379" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-884" /></p><h3>Step 2:Add a gradient background</h3></p><p>Add a gradient background to the first layer with the next settings:</p><p
class="tut_image"><img
src="http://www.ourtuts.com/wp-content/uploads/tutorial 13-iphone/2.jpg" alt="24" title="24" width="590" height="437" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-917" /></p><p
class="tut_image"><img
src="http://www.ourtuts.com/wp-content/uploads/tutorial 13-iphone/3.jpg" alt="33" title="33" width="410" height="242" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-918" /></p><p>The image has a nice blue background now.</p><p
class="tut_image"><img
src="http://www.ourtuts.com/wp-content/uploads/tutorial 13-iphone/4.jpg" alt="44" title="44" width="600" height="399" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-919" /></p><h3>Step 3:Add the Iphone</h3><p>Now, download the Iphone picture and with the <strong>Pen Tool</strong> create the selection of the phone.</p><p
class="tut_image"><img
src="http://www.ourtuts.com/wp-content/uploads/tutorial 13-iphone/5.jpg" alt="53" title="53" width="327" height="585" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-921" /></p><p>Add the Iphone to the project.If the image is too big,resize it by pressing <strong>Ctrl+T</strong> or <strong>Edit-Transform->Scale</strong>.To resize it more accurate,hold <strong>Shift Key</strong> while you make it smaller.</p><p
class="tut_image"><img
src="http://www.ourtuts.com/wp-content/uploads/tutorial 13-iphone/6.jpg" alt="63" title="63" width="600" height="398" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-922" /></p><h3>Step 4:Add the grass</h3><p>Download the Grass image and open it into Photoshop.</p><p
class="tut_image"><img
src="http://www.ourtuts.com/wp-content/uploads/tutorial 13-iphone/7.jpg" alt="72" title="72" width="600" height="399" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-924" /></p><p>Resize the image and make sure that the grass layer is under the Iphone layer.This way,the Iphone will stay on the grass.</p><p
class="tut_image"><img
src="http://www.ourtuts.com/wp-content/uploads/tutorial 13-iphone/8.jpg" alt="83" title="83" width="600" height="399" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-925" /></p><h3>Step 5:Masking the grass</h3><p>As you can see,the grass image has hard corners.We`re gonna try to make them softer and rounded.So,select the grass layer and press the layer mask button situated at the base of the layers area.Now press the layer mask thumbnail to select it.</p><p
class="tut_image"><img
src="http://www.ourtuts.com/wp-content/uploads/tutorial 13-iphone/9.jpg" alt="93" title="93" width="219" height="284" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-926" /></p><p>Choose an Airbrush Soft Round and start masking the corners.</p><p
class="tut_image"><img
src="http://www.ourtuts.com/wp-content/uploads/tutorial 13-iphone/10.jpg" alt="102" title="102" width="573" height="403" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-927" /></p><p>Don`t forget to set the foreground color to black,so you can add the mask with 100% damage.If you`ll choose another color instead,there will be traces of grass all over the mask,and we don`t want this.</p><p
class="tut_image"><img
src="http://www.ourtuts.com/wp-content/uploads/tutorial 13-iphone/11.jpg" alt="112" title="112" width="290" height="147" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-928" /></p><p>Finish the mask and try to get rid of those ugly corners as much as you can.Don`t be afraid because we`ll add in the future some extra grass using a brush set.</p><p
class="tut_image"><img
src="http://www.ourtuts.com/wp-content/uploads/tutorial 13-iphone/12.jpg" alt="122" title="122" width="574" height="619" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-929" /></p><h3>Step 6:Paint some flowers</h3><p>Download the Floral Deco brushes and select the <strong>brush nr. 22</strong> from the list.</p><p
class="tut_image"><img
src="http://www.ourtuts.com/wp-content/uploads/tutorial 13-iphone/13.jpg" alt="132" title="132" width="579" height="366" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-931" /></p><p>After you place one flower on a side,duplicate the layer,flip it horizontal(<strong>Edit->Transform->Flip Horizontal</strong>) and put it on the other side.</p><p
class="tut_image"><img
src="http://www.ourtuts.com/wp-content/uploads/tutorial 13-iphone/14.jpg" alt="142" title="142"  class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-932" /></p><p>Select the <strong>Erase tool(E)</strong> and delete the long leaves of the flowers.This is an optional step.You may delete them or not,but I decided to erase them.</p><p
class="tut_image"><img
src="http://www.ourtuts.com/wp-content/uploads/tutorial 13-iphone/15.jpg" alt="151" title="151" width="371" height="181" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-933" /></p><p
class="tut_image"><img
src="http://www.ourtuts.com/wp-content/uploads/tutorial 13-iphone/16.jpg" alt="161" title="161" width="594" height="579" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-934" /></p><p>Now select the <strong>brush nr. 24</strong> and add some pink flowers like above.Be sure that the flower layers are under the iphone.</p><p
class="tut_image"><img
src="http://www.ourtuts.com/wp-content/uploads/tutorial 13-iphone/17.jpg" alt="171" title="171" width="589" height="602" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-935" /></p><h3>Step 7: Add some flowers</h3><p>Download the flowers (<strong>orange flower,pink flower1,pink flower2,gerbera flower</strong>) and with the <strong>Pen tool(P)</strong>,select them and add them to the main project.Now,be sure to add the flowers layers above the Iphone.</p><p
class="tut_image"><img
src="http://www.ourtuts.com/wp-content/uploads/tutorial 13-iphone/18.jpg" alt="181" title="181" width="515" height="383" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-938" /></p><p

src='http://www.ourtuts.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_razz.gif' alt=':P' class='wp-smiley' /> ainting some grass</h3><p>Next,download the Grass brushes and paint over the grass picture.Change the color between different types of green to obtain a better result.Put the grass layer under the Iphone but above the grass.</p><p
class="tut_image"><img
src="http://www.ourtuts.com/wp-content/uploads/tutorial 13-iphone/20.jpg" alt="201" title="201" width="540" height="614" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-941" /></p><p

class="tut_image"><img
src="http://www.ourtuts.com/wp-content/uploads/tutorial 13-iphone/23.jpg" alt="231" title="231" width="449" height="514" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-944" /></p><p

class="tut_image"><img
src="http://www.ourtuts.com/wp-content/uploads/tutorial 13-iphone/26.jpg" alt="26" title="26" width="589" height="667" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-949" /></p><h3>Step 10: Add 2 more elements</h3><p>Next we`ll add a butterfly and an air balloon.So,download those two images from the top-list,select them with the Pen Tool(P) and add them into the project,resizing them adequate.</p><p

class="continue"><span
id="more-115"></span></span></p><p
class="postclear"><p>In Photoshop,a Layer Mask is the best way to hide and reveal certain parts of a layer.</p><div
id="left_adsense"></div><p>To add a Mask to a layer,first you must select the respective layer and then click on the Mask button.You may find the button in the bottom area of the layer`s section.</p><p
class="tut_image"><img
src="http://i1028.photobucket.com/albums/y345/pseudonymus/1.jpg" alt="layermask" title="layermask" width="213" height="209" /></p><p>You`ll notice that in the right side of the layer will appear a thumbnail.</p><p
class="tut_image"><img
src="http://i1028.photobucket.com/albums/y345/pseudonymus/2.jpg" alt="thumbnailmask" title="thumbnailmask" width="212" height="187" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-802" /></p><p>To start using the layer mask,click on the layer mask thumbnail and start hiding and revealing layers.</p><p>Next,I`ll present you some examples of using layer masks.You`ll see that those masks will become a must have in your next Photoshop projects.</p><h3>Create a black and white picture with colored areas</h3><p>In the first example I`ll show you how to create a black and white picture.After,I`ll reveal some colored areas from the initial image.</p><p>First step,download this <a
href="http://i1028.photobucket.com/albums/y345/pseudonymus/freedocru476121280x1024to5.jpg">flowers arrangement</a> photo to get started.After you download it,load the image into Photoshop.</p><p
class="tut_image"><a
href="http://img247.imageshack.us/img247/9588/freedocru476121280x1024to5.jpg"><img
src="http://www.ourtuts.com/wp-content/uploads/Lesson 4/freedocru476121280x1024to5.jpg" alt="freedocru476121280x1024to5" title="freedocru476121280x1024to5" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-803" /></a></p><p>Next,we`re going to make the picture a black and white one.Go to <strong>Layer->New Adjustment Layer->Hue/Saturation</strong> and apply the next settings:</p><p
class="tut_image"><img
src="http://i1028.photobucket.com/albums/y345/pseudonymus/3.jpg" alt="32" title="32" /></p><p
class="tut_image"><img
src="http://i1028.photobucket.com/albums/y345/pseudonymus/4.jpg" alt="43" title="43" width="402" height="303" /></p><p>To make the image more lighter,go to <strong>Layer->new Adjustment Layer->Brightness/Contrast</strong> and change the brightness and contrast of the image.</p><p
class="tut_image"><img
src="http://i1028.photobucket.com/albums/y345/pseudonymus/5.jpg" alt="52" title="52" width="323" height="146" /></p><p>Now we have a back and white image:</p><p
class="tut_image"><img
src="http://i1028.photobucket.com/albums/y345/pseudonymus/6.jpg" alt="62" title="62" width="600" height="480" /></p><p>Let`s reveal a little color.Click on the layer mask thumbnail of the Hue/Saturation layer.The reason is simple.The layer mask hides the initial picture by painting over the black and white effect.So,to reveal the colors,we must delete the respective areas of the mask.</p><p>Now,with the Hue/Saturation layer mask selected,choose a Soft brush and start revealing the colored areas.</p><p
class="tut_image"><img
src="http://i1028.photobucket.com/albums/y345/pseudonymus/8.jpg" alt="82" title="82" width="433" height="418" /></p><p>Start painting with the brush tool where you want to color.</p><p
class="tut_image"><img
src="http://i1028.photobucket.com/albums/y345/pseudonymus/9.jpg" alt="92" title="92" width="639" height="512" /></p><p>The image is ready:</p><p
class="tut_image"><img
src="http://i1028.photobucket.com/albums/y345/pseudonymus/10.jpg" alt="101" title="101" /></p><p>Here`s another images that I modified to show you how great is this procedure:</p><p
class="tut_image"><img
src="http://i1028.photobucket.com/albums/y345/pseudonymus/11.jpg" alt="111" title="111" width="600" height="450" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-812" /></p><p
class="tut_image"><img
src="http://i1028.photobucket.com/albums/y345/pseudonymus/12.jpg" alt="121" title="121" width="600" height="450" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-813" /></p><h3>How to merge two pictures</h3><p>In this example,I`ll show you how to merge two images. One of the tasks that you find yourself doing in Photoshop is cutting stuff out, putting them somewhere they don’t belong and making them fit in.I`ll show you a way to do this,using a layer mask. We`re going to add a sailing boat on a tropical sea.</p><p>Download those two pictures:The <a
href="http://www.idut.co.uk/idutgallery/demo/images/Water/Sailing%20Boat.jpg">sailing boat</a> and <a
href="http://adrianbratiloveanu.ecosapiens.ro/files/2009/04/nature-desktop-wallpaper-avantzone.jpg">tropical sea</a>.</p><p>Load them into Photoshop.</p><p
class="tut_image"><img
src="http://i1028.photobucket.com/albums/y345/pseudonymus/SailingBoat.jpg" alt="sailing-boat" title="sailing-boat" width="640" height="416" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-814" /></p><p
class="tut_image"><img
src="http://i1028.photobucket.com/albums/y345/pseudonymus/nature-desktop-wallpaper-avantzone.jpg" alt="nature-desktop-wallpaper-avantzone" title="nature-desktop-wallpaper-avantzone" /></p><p>Now I`m showing you how to paste the boat picture over the tropical sea.When you load a picture into Photoshop,you notice that the first layer,named Background is locked and it can`t be edited.To make it editable,double click the Background layer.</p><p
class="tut_image"><img
src="http://i1028.photobucket.com/albums/y345/pseudonymus/14.jpg" alt="141" title="141" width="215" height="192" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-816" /></p><p>The layer has been transformed into a editable layer,named Layer0.</p><p
class="tut_image"><img

href="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2261/2351674234_2f2a20134f_o.jpg">City</a></p><p><a
href="http://img441.imageshack.us/img441/9959/clouds.jpg">Clouds</a></p><p>Load the City image into your Photoshop</p><p>Duplicate the layer and apply the following Gaussian blur:</p><p
class="tut_image"><img
src="http://www.ourtuts.com/wp-content/themes/My theme/Tutorial 6/gaussian.jpg" alt="gaussian" title="gaussian" width="313" height="324" /></p><p>We can give this photo a blue gradient effect. Go to Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Gradient Fill, apply the following gradient settings(the colors are from left to right:#000a18,#010713,#0f2231,#192b39,#2c4154,#476774,#c7ddea) and change the blending mode for the gradient layer to Soft light:</p><p

class="tut_image"><img
src="http://www.ourtuts.com/wp-content/themes/My theme/Tutorial 6/color_balance.jpg" alt="color_balance" title="color_balance" width="436" height="249"  /></p><p>Brightness/Contrast(Layer->New Adjustments layer->Brightness/Contrast):</p><p
class="tut_image"><img
src="http://www.ourtuts.com/wp-content/themes/My theme/Tutorial 6/brightness.jpg" alt="brightness" title="brightness" width="325" height="147" /></p><p>Our image should look like this:</p><p
class="tut_image"><img
src="http://www.ourtuts.com/wp-content/themes/My theme/Tutorial 6/1.jpg" alt="1" title="1" width="594" height="392" /></p><p>Next step is adding some clouds and make them to look a little foggy</p><p>Load the &#8220;Clouds&#8221; image into Photoshop select the clouds from the image and add them into the project:</p><p
class="tut_image"><img
src="http://www.ourtuts.com/wp-content/themes/My theme/Tutorial 6/2.jpg"  width="594" height="433" /></p><p>Position the clouds like in the image:</p><p
class="tut_image"><img
src="http://www.ourtuts.com/wp-content/themes/My theme/Tutorial 6/3.jpg"  width="594" height="392" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-326" /></p><p>For the clouds layer,make them a mask(Layer->Layer Mask->Reveal All) and using the Airbrush soft round,make the margins of the clouds to look smoother:</p><p
class="tut_image"><img

class="tut_image"><img
src="http://www.ourtuts.com/wp-content/themes/My theme/Tutorial 6/4.jpg"  width="594" height="392" /></p><p>Now,lowing the opacity of the brush,make the clouds to look like fog,like in the next image:</p><p
class="tut_image"><img
src="http://www.ourtuts.com/wp-content/themes/My theme/Tutorial 6/5.jpg"  width="594" height="392" /></p><p>Let`s giving the clouds a blue color:</p><p>Go to Layer->New Adjustments layer->Color Balance and apply the next settings:</p><p

class="tut_image"><img
src="http://www.ourtuts.com/wp-content/themes/My theme/Tutorial 6/clouds_brightness.jpg" alt="clouds_brightness" title="clouds_brightness" width="324" height="146" /></p><p>Merge those layers(clouds layer,color balance layer and brightness/constrast layer) and our image should look like this:</p><p
class="tut_image"><img
src="http://www.ourtuts.com/wp-content/themes/My theme/Tutorial 6/6.jpg" alt="6" title="6" width="594" height="392" /></p><p>To make the clouds to look more blue coloured,duplicate the new clouds layer and set the blending mode for the new layer to Soft light.This is the result:</p><p
class="tut_image"><img
src="http://www.ourtuts.com/wp-content/themes/My theme/Tutorial 6/7.jpg" alt="75" title="75" width="594" height="392" /></p><p>Let`s add a moon in the top-left corner.I`ve found some <a

class="tut_image"><img
src="http://www.ourtuts.com/wp-content/themes/My theme/Tutorial 6/8.jpg" alt="84" title="84" width="594" height="392" /></p><p>Now,insert &#8220;The batman&#8221; photo into the picture.Using the Pen tool,make the selection of the batman and place him like in the picture:</p><p
class="tut_image"><img
src="http://www.ourtuts.com/wp-content/themes/My theme/Tutorial 6/9.jpg" alt="9" title="9" width="594" height="392" /></p><p>Now let`s add more fog on our picture.I`ve found some <a

class="continue"><span
id="more-11"></span></span></p><p
class="postclear">What are we making:</p><div
id="left_adsense"></div><p
class="tut_image"><img
title="final" src="http://www.ourtuts.com/wp-content/themes/My theme/Tutorial 5/final.jpg" alt="final" width="594" height="854" /></p><p>I`ve found two great images on the internet.One with a <a
href="http://sabrine-nature-stock.deviantart.com/art/Nature-Stock-006-Castle-25285982">castle</a> and other with a great <a
href="http://www.coolhdwallpapers.com/search/waterfall%20in%20forest">waterfall</a>:</p><p
class="tut_image"><img
title="1" src="http://www.ourtuts.com/wp-content/themes/My theme/Tutorial 5/1.jpg" alt="1" width="594" height="464" /></p><p>The second picture:</p><p
class="tut_image"><img
title="2" src="http://www.ourtuts.com/wp-content/themes/My theme/Tutorial 5/2.jpg" alt="2" width="594" height="371" /></p><p>Let`s begin.Open your Photoshop and drag the two pictures in Photoshop.As you can see the castle is a bit too large.</p><p
class="tut_image"><img
src="http://www.ourtuts.com/wp-content/themes/My theme/Tutorial 5/3.jpg" alt="3" title="3" width="594" height="773" /></p><p>Resize the castle to have the width equal to the width of the waterfall and place the waterfall above the castle like in the picture:</p><p
class="tut_image"><img
src="http://www.ourtuts.com/wp-content/themes/My theme/Tutorial 5/4.jpg" alt="" title="" width="594" height="743" /></p><p>Now duplicate the castle layer and set the blending mode for the new layer to Soft light then merge the two layers.</p><p>Duplicate the waterfall layer and set the blending mode for the new layer to Soft light too.</p><p>Your layers should look like this:</p><p
class="tut_image"><img
src="http://www.ourtuts.com/wp-content/themes/My theme/Tutorial 5/5.jpg" alt="" title="" width="207" height="213" /></p><p>And you`re image like this one:</p><p
class="tut_image"><img
src="http://www.ourtuts.com/wp-content/themes/My theme/Tutorial 5/6.jpg" alt="" title="" width="594" height="729" /></p><p>We`ve made those steps with the duplicated thing to make the layers to look the same.You can observe that the the waterfall looks a little bit darker.</p><p>Let`s make some areas of the waterfall to look a little bit lighty.</p><p>Select the Soft light waterfall layer and make a new layer mask.</p><p
class="tut_image"><img
src="http://www.ourtuts.com/wp-content/themes/My theme/Tutorial 5/7.jpg" alt="" title="" width="208" height="234" /></p><p>Now set the foreground color to black and with the Soft round brush erase the darker areas of the waterfall.I`ve marked in the picture the areas where i used the brush.You can make of course your own version.You are free to do this.I`m just explaining what to do.</p><p
class="tut_image"><img
src="http://www.ourtuts.com/wp-content/themes/My theme/Tutorial 5/8.jpg" alt="" title="" width="594" height="544" /></p><p>Using the Pen tool(P) make the selection of the mountains and delete them,because we are going to put there some clouds for effect.But again I repeat:It is optional.You may do your own manipulation in your own style.</p><p
class="tut_image"><img
src="http://www.ourtuts.com/wp-content/themes/My theme/Tutorial 5/9.jpg" width="594" height="344"  /></p><p>Let`s adjust a little bit the colors.Go to Layer->New Adjustment Layer and apply the next settings:</p><p>Levels:</p><p
class="tut_image"><img
src="http://www.ourtuts.com/wp-content/themes/My theme/Tutorial 5/10.jpg" width="398" height="302" /></p><p>Hue/Saturation</p><p
class="tut_image"><img
src="http://www.ourtuts.com/wp-content/themes/My theme/Tutorial 5/11.jpg" width="408" height="312" /></p><p>Now our image should look like this one:</p><p
class="tut_image"><img
src="http://www.ourtuts.com/wp-content/themes/My theme/Tutorial 5/12.jpg" width="583" height="716" /></p><p>Now comes the magic:making the images to look like one.</p><p>What we have to do is to make a layer mask to the first waterfall layer and using the Soft round brush erase the middle area from the image.It`s a more complicated procedure which can be succeeded if you practice on the image.Use your imagination.</p><p
class="tut_image"><img
src="http://www.ourtuts.com/wp-content/themes/My theme/Tutorial 5/13.jpg" width="594" height="407"  /></p><p>This is how my image looks:</p><p
class="tut_image"><img
src="http://www.ourtuts.com/wp-content/themes/My theme/Tutorial 5/14.jpg" width="594" height="729" /></p><p>Now,let`s create the clouds.I`ve found a <a
href="http://www.crystalhannah.com/mountains_clouds091904a.jpg">cloudy image</a> on the internet perfect for our project.</p><p
class="tut_image"><img
src="http://www.ourtuts.com/wp-content/themes/My theme/Tutorial 5/15.jpg" width="594" height="298" /></P></p><p>Using the Pen tool(P) cut the clouds and paste them in our image.</p><p
class="tut_image"><img
src="http://www.ourtuts.com/wp-content/themes/My theme/Tutorial 5/16.jpg" width="594" height="300" /></p><p>Make a layer mask for the clouds layer and using the Soft Round brushes,make their margins smoother,to look real.Is the same process we used when we merged the two images,one step backward.</p><p
class="tut_image"><img
src="http://www.ourtuts.com/wp-content/themes/My theme/Tutorial 5/17.jpg" width="594" height="312" /></p><p>We see now that the sky is incomplete.To fill it with clouds,duplicate the clouds layer,flip it horizontal to look different than the other layer(Edit->Transform->Flip Horizontally),make a new layer mask and apply the same treatment using the Soft brush.</p><p>My sky looks like this:</p><p
class="tut_image"><img
src="http://www.ourtuts.com/wp-content/themes/My theme/Tutorial 5/18.jpg"  width="594" height="498" /></p><p>Now we`re going to create some nice sunshines.</p><p>Using the rectangle tool(U) draw a white rectangle with a big height.Then go to Filter->Render->Fibers and apply the next settings:</p><p
class="tut_image"><img
src="http://www.ourtuts.com/wp-content/themes/My theme/Tutorial 5/20.jpg" width="594" height="596" /></p><p>Go to Filter->Blur->Motion blur this time and put the next parameters:</p><p
class="tut_image"><img
src="http://www.ourtuts.com/wp-content/themes/My theme/Tutorial 5/21.jpg" width="594" height="482" /></p><p>Now go to Edit->Transform->Perspective and create a perspective like in the next image.Click on the top-left corner of the rectangle and pressing the Shift Key drag to the right.Repeat the process for the bottom-left corner but drag to the left.</p><p
class="tut_image"><img
src="http://www.ourtuts.com/wp-content/themes/My theme/Tutorial 5/22.jpg" width="594" height="553" /></p></p><p>Set the blending mode for this layer to Soft light.Now you have your nice sunshines.</p><p>I`ve made my image a little bit more darker,applying the next adjustment(Layer->New Adjustment Layer->Brightness/Contrast):</p><p
class="tut_image"><img
src="http://www.ourtuts.com/wp-content/themes/My theme/Tutorial 5/23.jpg"  width="324" height="148" /></p><p>This is how the image looks:</p><p
class="tut_image"><img
src="http://www.ourtuts.com/wp-content/themes/My theme/Tutorial 5/24.jpg" width="594" height="860" /></p><p>I`ve searched on the internet for some gradients for the last effect and I`ve found them <a
href="http://elvensword.deviantart.com/art/Landscape-Ps-Gradients-105242184">here</a>.</p><p>I`ve used a blue one and changed the blending mode of the layer to Soft light.</p><p>We`ve just finished our great tutorial and this is the result:</p><p
class="tut_image"><img
src="http://www.ourtuts.com/wp-content/themes/My theme/Tutorial 5/final.jpg" width="594" height="860" /></p><p>I hope you like it and if you have any questions,problems in replicate the image or anything else leave me a comment and I`ll do my best.</p><p>Have a good day&#8230;!</p><p

class="continue"><span
id="more-8"></span></span></p><p>This is how my final result looks:</p><p
class="tut_image"><img
title="final4" src="http://www.ourtuts.com/wp-content/themes/My theme/Tutorial 3/final.jpg" alt="final4" width="594" height="367" /></p><p>For This tutorial,as background I used <a
href="http://webzoom.freewebs.com/ukppg/Should%20I%20Stay%20or%20Should%20I%20Go.jpg">this image</a>.So&#8230;let`s get started:</p><p>Load the image into Photoshop.Duplicate the layer and name it &#8220;Background clouds&#8221;(or whatever you want),deselect the first one and using the selection tool delete the bottom part of the image like in the picture:</p><p
class="tut_image"><img
title="14" src="http://www.ourtuts.com/wp-content/themes/My theme/Tutorial 3/1.jpg" alt="14" width="594" height="412" /></p><p>Using the crop tool,select the rest of the image to get rid of that space from the bottom of the image.Delete the first layer(the locked one).Duplicate the &#8220;Background clouds&#8221; layer 2 times.Change the blend mode for the first to &#8220;Soft light&#8221; and for the second to &#8220;Overlay&#8221;..Now we have an image with more light and contrast.</p><p
class="tut_image"><img
title="2" src="http://www.ourtuts.com/wp-content/themes/My theme/Tutorial 3/2.jpg" alt="2" width="594" height="375" /></p><p>In the bottom left of the image,add some mountains.I used a set of <a
href="http://00angelicdevil00.deviantart.com/art/Mountain-brush-set-for-PS-CS-97269163">mountains brushes</a>,but is just a suggestion.</p><p
class="tut_image"><img
title="32" src="http://www.ourtuts.com/wp-content/themes/My theme/Tutorial 3/3.jpg" alt="32" width="594" height="367" /></p><p>Make a new layer and in the bottom-right of the image,add a wolf sitting on a rock mountain.You can download the brush from <a
href="http://namflow.deviantart.com/art/Wolf-brush-set-86982880">here</a>.</p><p
class="tut_image"><img
title="42" src="http://www.ourtuts.com/wp-content/themes/My theme/Tutorial 3/4.jpg" alt="42" width="594" height="367" /></p><p>Now we`re gonna make the rock of the wolf to become real.Download this <a
href="http://www.cgtextures.com/texview2.php?id=4404&amp;PHPSESSID=5fa5f7e774ca5255584fa40876988e98">rock image</a> and paste it into Photoshop.</p><p>Duplicate the layer of the image,select the &#8220;Selection tool&#8221;,right click on image and &#8220;Load selection&#8221;.Ctrl+C to copy and paste it in our project.</p><p>Put the layer under the wolf layer.Transform the scale of the image to look like this:</p><p
class="tut_image"><img
title="52" src="http://www.ourtuts.com/wp-content/themes/My theme/Tutorial 3/5.jpg" alt="52" width="594" height="367" /></p><p>Using the pen tool,make the selection of the exterior rock and delete it,like in the image:</p><p
class="tut_image"><img
title="62" src="http://www.ourtuts.com/wp-content/themes/My theme/Tutorial 3/6.jpg" alt="62" width="594" height="367" /></p><p>Increase the height of the canvas(Image-&gt;Canvas size) to see if you have any rock under the image.If you have,get rid of it.</p><p
class="tut_image"><img
title="72" src="http://www.ourtuts.com/wp-content/themes/My theme/Tutorial 3/7.jpg" alt="72" width="594" height="367" /></p><p>Now put the layer with the rock above the wolf layer.Now you have a rock mountain.Set the opacity of the layer to 30% and duplicate it.</p><p>Set the opacity of the new layer to 100%.</p><p>Go to Filter->Render->Lightning effects and apply the next settings for the rock layer:</p><p
class="tut_image"><img
title="73" src="http://www.ourtuts.com/wp-content/themes/My theme/Tutorial 3/omni.jpg" alt="72" width="504" height="346" /></p><p>Now make a mask to this layer(Layer->Layer Mask->Reveal all),set the foreground color to #d2d2d2,and with the Airbrush Soft Round make more light to the rock,like in the image:</p><p
class="tut_image"><img
title="73" src="http://www.ourtuts.com/wp-content/themes/My theme/Tutorial 3/brush.jpg" alt="72" width="594" height="364" /></p><p>Duplicate this layer and set the blending mode for the new layer to Soft light.Merge those 2 layers.You may set the opacity to 70-80% to make the rock a little bit darker.</p><p>Now add the next outer glow effect:</p><p
class="tut_image"><img
title="92" src="http://www.ourtuts.com/wp-content/themes/My theme/Tutorial 3/9.jpg" alt="92" width="594" height="367" /></p><p>Our image looks like this:</p><p
class="tut_image"><img
title="102" src="http://www.ourtuts.com/wp-content/themes/My theme/Tutorial 3/10.jpg" alt="102" width="594" height="367" /></p><p>Using the pen tool,make the selection to the wolf,copy the selection and paste it into a new layer.</p><p>To this layer,add the next blending options:</p><p>Outer glow:</p><p
class="tut_image"><img
title="112" src="http://www.ourtuts.com/wp-content/themes/My theme/Tutorial 3/11.jpg" alt="112" width="594" height="367" /></p><p>Color overlay</p><p

title="123" src="http://www.ourtuts.com/wp-content/themes/My theme/Tutorial 3/12.jpg" alt="123" width="594" height="367" /></p><p>We have now a wolf a bit more darken.</p><p
class="tut_image"><img
class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-198" title="132" src="http://www.ourtuts.com/wp-content/themes/My theme/Tutorial 3/13.jpg" alt="132" width="594" height="367" /></p><p>In a new layer,with &#8220;Airbrush Soft Round 200&#8243; ,hardness 0% make some shadows on the margins of the rock and set the Fill layer to 40-45%.</p><p
class="tut_image"><img
title="143" src="http://www.ourtuts.com/wp-content/themes/My theme/Tutorial 3/14.jpg" alt="143" width="594" height="367" /></p><p>I`ve found some <a
