PSD Files \ Resources
August 13, 2011

There`s been a boom in freebies lately, especially Photoshop ones, many web designers starting to give away nice and higher or lower quality PSD files to the audience. Is nice to giveaway something and we all know that you can`t build relationships without commitment and drawing small but good design elements like login forms and buttons and give them away is the right way. I want to share with you 10 great websites which are providing for free amazing PSD files which are built following only the latest design trends.

1. 365psd

365psd are entitling themselves as the world’s highest quality source of PSDs that are free for both personal and commercial use. That means any PSD you download can be reused in any project without worrying about licensing. Their goal was to offer one free psd each day for a year. After the first year, they`re still offering 1 psd each day. How cool is that? Today, the website belongs to Walmedia, which also have in their portfolio DesignMoo and UpThemes.

2. DesignMoo

I remember about the old DesignMoo, which was actually a design bookmarking website like DesignFloat and DesignBump. The website reborn itself in a new shape, thanks to Chris Wallace, the founder of Walmedia. They love to share fonts, brushes, textures, icons, illustrations, and more with anyone that might find them useful.
Their goal is to build a great network of designers and community resources and provide a centralized location for finding great-looking free design resources.

3. PremiumPixels

Premium Pixels is a bunch of free design resources & tutorials created by Orman Clark. His design skills are setting the trends, being one of the most appreciated designers. He`s a great wordpress designer, building ” super duper WordPress themes”.

4. is the design playground of Dany Duchaine, a designer and wordpress developer. He`s sharing only high-quality freebies, closely reviewed and accepted as high-quality by Dribbble community.

5. PixelsDaily

PixelsDaily delivers daily(!) high quality content, posts resources of all kinds and file types, publishes short but detailed tutorials that don’t take hours to do and allows contributions for designers to showcase their work.
It is currently managed by Liam McCabe and Benjamin Nathan.

6. FreebiesBooth

Another great psd resources website, full of free and high-quality files. The resources available are and always be free to use in both personal and commercial projects.

7. DesignKindle

Design Kindle was the idea of Build Interactive, a small web design studio founded by Adrian Pelletier. Their goal is to provide the best free design resources on the web by keeping our file quality incredibly high.

8. PSDChest

PSDchest goal is to provide premium like but free design resources on the web.No required membership, no hidden fees, just web design resources ready to use.

9. Download PSD

DownloadPSD is one of the oldest PSD directory, sharing more than 400 PSD elements. Is almost impossible not to find something you need.

10. DesignDeck

DesignDeck is the last in my list, but not the least. The PSD files offered are just a niche of the website. They`re also offering design links and articles. The website has a brother, called ScriptDeck , so please check it out too!

Maybe you think I missed the biggest design resources website, DeviantArt. I simply didn`t want to add it to my list because is known by everyone and it`s not based on PSD files only. Anyway, if I missed another great website which is giving away freebies, drop it in the comment and I`ll add it to the list. Until then, I wish you all the best and navigate safe!
